A real basketball. A whole new night game.

When daylight fades, BLACKTOP brings a bright orange glow to the game you already love. Built-in LEDs illuminate the ball from within, making every dribble, pass and shot easier to follow after dark.

  • LED illumination: Light from inside the ball, rather than a glow-in-the-dark coating.
  • Full-size play: Size 7 with a textured surface for a familiar feel in your hands.
  • Made for evening sessions: From driveway shooting to a game with friends.
  • A gift with a next chapter: Unwrap it, head outside and make a night of it.

How to start your first night game

1. Get game-ready.
Prepare the ball according to the included instructions.

2. Tap to light it up.
The built-in LEDs bring the orange glow to life.

3. Call your next shot.
Head to your usual hoop and keep the evening going.

Same hoop. New reason to stay for one more game.

Does it glow on its own or use LEDs?

BLACKTOP uses built-in LEDs to illuminate the ball from within. Tap it to activate the orange glow and follow the included instructions for setup and power care.

Does it feel like a regular basketball?

Yes. BLACKTOP is a size 7 basketball with a pebbled surface and familiar basketball feel. The difference comes after sunset: internal lighting makes the ball easier to see as you dribble, pass and shoot.

Can I use it outdoors?

Yes. Take BLACKTOP to the driveway or your local court. Its water-resistant shell can handle light moisture, but do not submerge it. Always play where you can see the hoop, the ground and the people around you.

From the court

    My son loves it

It arrived deflated and has a strong smell, but it seems fine overall. My son is delighted with it, and I’d buy it again.
